My Lyrics: I feel like I don't belong Am I doing something Wrong I feel like I'm misplaced How can I escape It’s hard being black I'm tired of being look at It’s hard being black But it’s something that I’ll never take back I'm insecure of my skin Cause people make fun of me I'm insecure of my skin But I don't want to give in My mother always says that i always look gorgeous How can I believe that when someone called me a tortoise My father tells me to be strong and follow my dreams How when everyone's tryna lower my self esteem I love my mama love my fartha love my sistas love my godda I appreciate my skin because my parents made it I just don't see why everyone else hates it I was born with my complexion And I say that with affection |
